Zündstoff Steakhouse - Bikertreff in Hemfurth-Edersee

I went to the drive through and bought a double meat with bacon burger on Tuesday night. Tasted not right. I ended up with food poisoning. I had a sore stomach an hour later I then threw up at 5am in the morning and then had to go to work. I’ve been on the toilet every three hours ever since. In fact I’m sitting on the toilet right now hoping that this is the end of it. And Gas like you wouldn’t believe. I will never go there again. And I’ve lost 5 kilos. That’s about the only plus. It cost me €7.20 for three days of hell.

I happened to be there in the summer when I was doing a tour to the Edersee. From the outside it looked very inviting and I also really liked the western town. I then sat down on a seat outside and wanted to have lunch. Waitresses passed me several times, I drew attention to myself, but I was not served. When after more than 20 minutes still nobody came, I went to my moped and drove on. I would have liked to give you a better rating, I also got the impression that you get good food there and I found the atmosphere very nice. However, it is not so nice when you are simply not served. I suggest: The next time I'm up there I stop again and if I am served and maybe even get something to eat, I adjust my rating accordingly;)

For years one of the best places to go if you want to eat burgers. We like being here, in summer you can sit outside and linger, another highlight here is the small western town where you can also spend the night. Clear recommendation!

Very nice atmosphere, something different. Super tasty SpareRips and burgers. The staff is friendly and attentive, and helpful if you can't decide what to eat. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here.

Very nice place to fortify yourself after or before further exploring the area. Thanks to Zündstoff City, you can stay on site, rent a room and take some time to explore the area without having to travel to the property every time. Now a little bit of mindfulness when there are new customers would be good, but overall very good and everyone is very nice. And it tasted good too and the price was okay.

We were in Zündstoff City from Monday to Friday, with the breakfast we booked as a buffet, due to Covid, nothing came of it, they came up with something and delivered breakfast to the room. The food in the restaurant was good only on Tuesday the restaurant was overcrowded (there were hardly any others open in the evening) and therefore it took a little longer to eat. Great rooms and great beds.

We discovered this restaurant by chance. The burgers are highly recommended. Thank you that we got a place at short notice. The ambience is great, very nice service. We will be back.

The food was okay, it could only have been a bit warmer. Service nice and very attentive. Can be recommended with a clear conscience.

Were eating in the Zündstoff today after visiting the zoo. Went there with an infant. The music was a bit too loud for the little one. Otherwise good atmosphere. The food came served quickly and friendly. We had hamburgers with fries that were delicious. However, the cheese seemed a bit artificial to us. If the cheese had been better it would have given it 5 stars. In addition, card payment was not possible at the seat. Maybe think about a mobile reader here.

Very nice place. You feel really good here. Food is delicious, very nice staff. Great atmosphere. Just the sight when driving by is a lot of fun. I will be happy to come by here more often.

The atmosphere there is really good and above all a great place to start if you are a motorcycle fan, as you usually have a few nice machines there. The western town looks really good too! I had a burger to eat, it was also very good, only you noticed that the bulbs are not freshly made on site but are delivered ready-made as a purchase ... if you would make them yourself with love everything would be perfect

I drove by so many years and thought that it was only for motorcycle fans, in the end we parked the car - that works there too! :) Pros: the food came quickly, the service was nice, the atmosphere is cool. But relatively long waiting times until you are served and the quality of the food is not the best. Despite Corona, the tables were not wiped and the menus on the table were completely smelted. I was happy to eat there, but unfortunately the food disappointed us, it was probably the first and last time, a shame!

Our last day at the Edersee was made really nice again with a wonderful meal! TOP ambience TOP service (nice lady with red hair) And a TOP FOOD !! We have seldom eaten such a delicious burger :-) and a 10 for a burger with delicious fries is simply nothing! :-) So I can only recommend it! If we go on holiday again we will eat here again. Whereby we even consider booking the sleeping accommodation there :-) Keep it up ! 🥳❤️

OK the cheeseburger was okay although it was a bit sparingly topped with 3 cucumber slices and a small leaf of green salad with 2 different burger sauces and a slice of cheese. With "homemade" french fries with a sachet of ketchup or mayonnaise. Then the Cheesy Fries where the cheese sauce was probably lying next to a piece of cheese. An apple spritzer with more spritzer than apple. Overall but clean, fast and extremely friendly service who was also very attentive even though it was full. I'll give them a second chance. Oh yes the prices are ok.

A great location. We went there to eat, but stayed longer because there was live music. The prices in the restaurant are very good, as is the food. The staff is very courteous and friendly. I looked at the rooms and think that you can spend a few days here too. Like in the Wild West - real western styles.

Great service, and affordable prices

Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired, completely cold, the bag sauce tasted like water, the steak was a cheap minute steak. Baked potatoes were very floury and were estimated to have been from the day before, and the French fries were unfortunately not seasoned either. They wanted to talk to the restaurant manager (Sven) about it, but unfortunately his breakfast was more important to him than the feedback from his guests, which he definitely lost. However, you have to mention that the staff was very friendly and courteous.

Nice restaurant near Ederstausee for bikers and presumably everyone else. Prices are fair , the food is good and the waitress was friendly. There were a lot of Western theme park like buildings either in the making or closed at that time, didn't care.

Very unfriendly and clearly nowhere motivated Staff, and "quarter pounder Burgers" were frozen pre-cooked "meat" from what I could tell. Not recommendable at all, barely passes as food.
